  • The Plant biotechnology laboratory space is fully equipped for plant molecular biology work and plant tissue culture applications, and is available to provide all the necessary laboratory facilities required for the students.










Microbial and Environmental Biotechnology

  • The main focus of this department is on study of biology of bacteria, fungi, pathogenic potential of organisms that cause diseases to crop. This department also includes study of biodiversity, bioremediation, renewable energy generation and various environmental aspects.

Animal Biotechnology

  • The Department of Animal Biotechnology working on different aspects for the betterment of animal health. In this department work on Molecular Diagnostics, Reproductive Biotechnology and Animal Genomics. Under molecular diagnostics, detection, isolation and characterization of viral pathogens of livestock. In this department various instruments like, nucleic acid based conventional PCR.










Bioinformatics

  • Instruments: Well equipped Computer laboratory with high speed leased line internet service.

  • In bioinformatics laboratory established to give knowledge about data mining, machine learning, data visualization, big data analysis and data fusion and also, application of computational methods to solve practical problems and focus on systems biology, genomics, proteomics, biomedicine and natural sciences.
  •
